SMC offers the most extensive network of sales and technical support in the industry today. This sales network plays an extremely important role for SMC with its customers in every field of industry. Our sales network stays on top of current and future market trends in each area, and responds precisely to the resulting needs. Furthermore, in covering many different types of industries, detailed attention to individual customers is all the more necessary.

Through this extensive sales network, SMC vigorously pursues activities to promote closer communication with customers, including new product seminars, factory tours, product displays at various exhibitions, and the establishment of show rooms.

SMC Corporation of America has established a network of 24 sales branches, over 700 sales associates, and over 100 distributors in key markets across the nation with each office providing sales support, order processing, local inventory, technical assistance and project integration.

In the U.S.A., SMC has established two manufacturing centers, one in Indiana and one in California. Combined production at both facilities gives SMC a potential manufacturing capability of more than 1 million actuators per year.

Increasingly, more emphasis is being placed on ensuring that the products manufactured and sold in the U.S.A. are also designed in the U.S.A. U.S.A. design capability is an important link in the product research and development process and helps SMC reduce our product development time and be more responsive to our customers needs.
