Air Management System
The Air Management System automatically regulates and isolates the compressed air provided to a machine to improve efficiencies during periods of inactivity. The unit generates pressure, flow, and temperature data to characterize normal operating conditions and identify trends to both compare with similar machines and enable preventative action to maintain optimal system performance. The unit does not require reprogramming of the user's PLC to operate, making integration both simple and cost effective. The high-resolution data is accessed by the PLC via fieldbus and SCADA packages via OPC UA. Using OPC UA and wireless systems, the Air Management System can be added without connector to the PLC or changes to PLC programming.

Programmable automatic pressure reduction and shut-off times, with wireless technology and fieldbus of OPC UA data collection. Capable of monitoring pressure, temperature, and airline flow.
IO-Link Compatible Air Management System: AMS-X2044/X2045
Digital Air Management System assembly simplified unit options X2044 and X2045 that helps to reduce energy consumption and improve sustainability and maintenance of the system. These units support monitoring of air flow, pressure and temperature via IO-Link and provide this data to a master or other input block.
EXA1, Air Management Hub
The hub of the Air Management System. It works like the PF3A flow sensor. The hub generates flow, pressure and temperature data to quantify machine operation. This can be a standalone unit or remote hubs can communicate wirelessly with the base units.
ITV-X399, Standby Electro-Pneumatic Regulator
ITV-X399 standby electro-pneumatic regulator for use in the Air Management System. This unit allows the user to electronically control the pressure to a device. The capability of setting a standby pressure has been added. The non-relieving design allows the system to decay to this pressure before the ITV maintains it at the set lower pressure. A pressure ramp feature permits a controlled pressurization at start-up and eliminates the need for a separate soft-start device.
AR20S-50S, Standby Regulator
The AR*S standby regulator provides a simple, mechanical method of introducing standby pressure to the Air Management System. A non-relieving design, the AR*S allows the system to decay naturally to the standby pressure.
VP*46E-X660/X661, 3-Port Solenoid Valve, Residual Pressure Relief
The VP-X660/X661 series residual pressure relief valves facilitate the Air Management System by putting the machine in isolation mode for a longer-term idle state. A soft option is recommended when using the AR*S series standby regulator for controlled pressurization of the system.

Sustainability – Condition Based Maintenance - Digitalization
The Air Management System is available in two basic configurations that vary by the standby regulator used. The A type utilizes the electro-pneumatic regulator while the B type uses the manual type standby regulator. Both types include an isolation valve and can be configured as remotes (SA) or as fieldbus connected bases (EN, PN). The hubs have an extra IO link port for connection to additional devices that can communicate through the system.
