AC Servo Sliders
Similar to the Slider type except utilizes an AC servo motor instead of a DC type. The AC servo motor enables higher speed and acceleration, as well as improved vertical load capability. Optional drivers include pulse input and various communication protocols including Ethernet. Encoders range from 17 to 22-bit resolution, depending on motor selection.
AC Servo Ball Screw Drive
The AC Servo Ball Screw Drive is a slider-type electric actuator that utilizes a ball screw drive to provide high-precision linear motion. By incorporating an AC servo motor, this series achieves superior speed, acceleration, and vertical load capacity compared to standard DC models. The load mounting platform is positioned above the drive mechanism and is protected by a flexible seal band that prevents foreign matter from entering the internal components. This actuator is available in body sizes 25, 32, and 40, offering a maximum workload of 60 kg and a maximum speed of 1500 mm/s with positioning repeatability of plus or minus 0.02 mm.
High Rigidity Ball Screw Drive
The LEJSG and LEKFS High Rigidity Ball Screw Drive series represent a significant mechanical upgrade over standard sliders by employing a redesigned guide system. These actuators use four rows of circular arc groove guide rails instead of the standard two, which increases the allowable moment rigidity and reduces table displacement under heavy loads. These models maintain high precision with a positioning repeatability of ± 0.01 mm.
High Rigidity Ball Screw, Wide Body
The LEJS is a slider type electric actuator available exclusively with an AC servo motor. The actuator features a substantially wider load mounting platform than the LEFS, supported internally by a double axis linear guide for reduced moment deflection. The AC servo motor enables higher speed and acceleration, as well as a high-load size 63 model exclusive to LEJ. Optional drivers include pulse input and various communication protocols including Ethernet. Encoders range from 17 to 22-bit resolution, depending on motor selection.
AC Servo Type Belt Drive Products
The AC servo version of the LEFB slider features an AC servo motor instead of a DC version. The AC servo motor enables higher speed and acceleration, as well as a size 40 model not available in a DC version. Optional drivers include pulse input and various communication protocols including Ethernet. Encoders range from 17 to 22-bit resolution, depending on motor selection.
High Rigidity Belt Drive, Wide Body
The LEJB is a slider type electric actuator available exclusively with an AC servo motor. The actuator features a substantially wider load mounting platform than the LEFB, supported internally by a double axis linear guide for reduced moment deflection. The AC servo motor enables higher speed and acceleration, improved positioning repeatability, and a high-load size 63 model exclusive to LEJ. Large Load Belt Sliders
The LET-X11 is a belt driven slider with an AC servo motor, designed for large loads. Choose from four different orientations for the transverse mounted motor for optimal machine layout. While the full actuator maintains a low profile and center of gravity, the table is the highest surface, allowing larger workpieces to travel on the table without interference. The drive belt is easily accessible for replacement at its end of life. The available AC servo motors offer a range of high resolution incremental and absolute encoders. The LET-X11 is also available in a motorless type, permitting the mounting of an AC servo motor other than the standard chosen by SMC.
Support Guide LEFG AC Servo
An LEFG guide shares dimensions with the LEFS and LEFB body, but has no motor. It functions as a support for a significantly overhanging workpiece that is moved by a driving slider. The guide is equipped with a seal band that prevents the ingress of grease and other external foreign matter. A typical application is in support of a large loading platform in a multi-axis pick-and-place operation
