Slider Type Actuators
Rodless type electric actuator features a load mounting platform situated above a ball screw drive or belt drive. Ball screw type advantages are better positioning repeatability than belt drives. Belt drive provides a more economical offering.
Ball Screw Drive
The LEFS series is a rodless electric actuator featuring a load mounting platform driven by a ball screw, offering high positioning repeatability of ±0.02 mm. Its compact, low-profile design is shorter than traditional rod-type actuators, and it includes a flexible seal band to protect the internal drive from dust and grease. Available in multiple body sizes and motor types, including step motors and high-speed servo motors, it supports workloads up to 75 kg and speeds up to 1500 mm/s.
Belt Drive
The LEM series is designed for applications where space is at a premium, featuring an exceptionally low table height of 40 mm or less. By utilizing a belt drive system, these actuators achieve longer strokes (up to 2000 mm) and higher speeds than ball screw models, making them ideal for light-to-medium load transfers.
LEL Guided Slider, Belt Drive
The LEL series is a high-speed, cost-effective electric actuator designed for rapid horizontal transfers and long-stroke applications. Featuring a parallel belt drive and a horizontally mounted motor, this model maintains a lower surface height (approximately 48 mm) compared to standard LEF slider series, making it ideal for space-constrained environments. It integrates a load-mounting carriage that travels along stable guide rails, supported by either sliding bushings or ball bushing bearings to handle various load and friction requirements. With capabilities including a maximum speed of 1000 mm/s and strokes up to 1000 mm, the LEL series offers a specialized balance of speed and structural stability for automated transport tasks.
Belt Drive Low Profile
The LEM electric actuator family features the lowest table height of all sliders, 40mm or less. Four series are available, including basic, cam follower guide, and single or double axis linear guides. Belt drives permit longer strokes and higher speeds than ball screw sliders. Guided types permit higher workloads than the LEFB or LEL.
Support Guide
This support guide serves as a motorized or non-motorized auxiliary axis that mirrors the form factor of the standard LEF slider series. Its primary purpose is to provide additional structural support and load-bearing capacity for wide or heavy workpieces that are being moved by a primary driving actuator. By matching the height and mounting specifications of the active sliders, the LEFG-X117 helps prevent deflection and ensures smooth, synchronized movement across wide spans in automated machinery.
