By leveraging these two partners, SMC can offer our customers turnkey support. SMC USA provides the engineering and parts, Service Logic provides the national scale for chiller maintenance, and Trillium provides the deep technical refurbishment for critical components.

Service Logic

Service Logic is our primary repair partner. Our partnership provides nationwide coverage for the lifecycle of SMC chillers:

  • Authorized Field Service: Service Logic owns a portfolio of over 100 local HVAC companies. These local entities act as our boots-on-the-ground, performing on-site repairs, emergency services, and routine chiller maintenance.

  • Warranty & Support: They are authorized to handle both warranty and non-warranty repairs. 

  • Technical Integration: SMC USA provides the technical specifications and OEM parts, while Service Logic provides the labor and regional infrastructure to support large facilities (data centers, hospitals, etc.) that use SMC USA chiller systems.

Trillium focuses on high-precision and semiconductor-grade chiller repair:

  • Proprietary Repair Scopes: Trillium has developed specific, data-driven repair protocols for SMC USA models. They often perform full cooling system audits and preventative upgrades to OEM standards.
  • Component Level Repair: Trillium is often used for complex internal component issues, such as repairing the refrigeration circuit, replacing compressors, or recalibrating electronic monitoring devices.
  • Exchange Programs: Trillium maintains a stock of refurbished SMC units, allowing customers to exchange a broken unit for a functioning one to minimize downtime while the original unit is being repaired.

Trillium operates two distinct divisions—one focused on chiller engineering (Trillium US) and one on facility management (Trillium Facility Solutions). Both provide high-level support for SMC units.
