The package design is robust enough for the factory, yet ergonomic and compact for lab installations. Coolant can be either heated or cooled within the set temperature range. Choose from eight cooling capacities, air or water cooled refrigerant, and global power supply options.

HRS-R, IP54 Environmentally Resistant Chiller, 200-230VAC
The HRS-R is the IP54 rated variation of our popular HRS compact recirculating chiller. It is built for dirty or demanding industrial environments such as woodworking or cement plants, facilities subject to regular washdowns, and machine shops where cutting fluids create an airborne oily film. It protects against dust and splashing water and resists corrosion from oil and chemicals and is available in a stainless steel model for greater corrosion resistance.

HRS, General Use Compact Chiller, 230VAC
Because 230V is the standard wall-outlet voltage for most of the world outside North America, the HRS 230VAC is ideal for OEM Manufacturers in the United States. Companies that build in the U.S. and sell globally can ensure the entire package is compatible with international voltage and refrigerant requirements, and industrial certification standards. These chillers are also used by domestic industrial factories that require more cooling than a standard 115V outlet can safely provide.

SMC compact chillers are industrial grade cooling systems that combine high efficiency with consistent temperature control. The reduced footprint of these chillers is made possible by the unique arrangement of the refrigerant circulation system.
- The compressor is positioned at the base to provide stability for the chiller's weight and vibration.
- The condenser is placed along the side or back so that heat exhaust can efficiently exit the cabinet.
- The expansion valve is located in the piping between the condenser and the evaporator.
- The evaporator is usually found near the water tank and pump assembly where the refrigerant cycle meets the fluid circulation system to cool the liquid.
