AC Servo Rod
Similar to the Rod and Guided Rod type except utilizes an AC servo motor instead of a DC type. The AC servo motor enables higher speed and acceleration, as well as improved vertical load capability. The drivers are pulse input type, with both incremental and absolute encoder options and 17- or 18-bit resolution.
Rod
The AC servo version of the LEY rod features an AC servo motor instead of a DC version. The AC servo motor enables higher speed, acceleration, and pushing force, as well as a size 63 model not available in a DC version. The drivers are pulse input type, with both incremental and absolute encoder options and 17- or 18-bit resolution.
Rod, IP65 IP69K Protection Class
The X5 option, available for the LEY series in sizes 25 and 32, is a dust and drip proof specification equivalent to IP65. The AC servo motors do not require enclosures, but the scraper and lube-retainer configurations are included. Additionally, the body extrusion includes a vent hole and fitting to balance internal pressure so that dust and water are not drawn in.
Guided Rod
The AC servo version of the LEYG guided rod features an AC servo motor instead of a DC version. The actuator features a bolt-on bearing block with double guide rods that resist rotational and lateral loads. The AC servo motor enables higher speed, acceleration, and pushing force. The drivers are pulse input type, with both incremental and absolute encoder options and 17- or 18-bit resolution.Product & CAD Models
