Belt Drive
An LEFB slider, or rodless, type electric actuator features a load mounting platform situated above a belt drive. A flexible seal band permits platform movement while preventing grease and foreign matter from entering the drive. Advantages include shorter overall length than rod types, plus longer strokes and higher speeds than ball screw drives.
LEFB Slider, Belt Drive, Incremental Encoder
The standard LEFB series provides a high speed, long stroke alternative to ball screw actuators, using a reinforced belt to drive the loading platform. It supports strokes up to 3000mm and speeds up to 2000mm/s, outpacing ball screw models for long distance movement. This series is available with various motor types, including AC servo motors for high acceleration, and features a low profile design with a protective seal band.
LEFB Belt Drive Slider, Battery-less Absolute Encoder
The LEFB Belt Drive Slider with a battery-less absolute encoder is designed for long stroke applications where position data must be retained without battery maintenance. By using a belt drive instead of a ball screw, it achieves higher travel speeds and longer reach, making it suitable for material handling and pick and place tasks.
LE2FB, High Performance Slider, Belt Drive, for Manifold Controller
Similar to its ball screw counterpart, the LE2FB is a high performance belt driven slider built for the JXD1 M manifold controller. Belt drives allow for longer strokes and higher speeds compared to ball screws. It features a battery-less absolute encoder and 24VDC motor, providing a space efficient solution for long distance transport tasks within a manifold controlled system.
