AC Servo Motor Drivers
LE’s AC servo motors offer higher speeds and accelerations than DC types, as well as higher torques for larger actuators. Pulse input drivers are available for both incremental and absolute encoders, for standalone operation by a PLC. Drivers for fieldbus networks are also available, including compatibility with EtherNet/IP™, PROFINET, EtherCAT®, CC-Link, Mitsubishi's SSCNET and Yaskawa's MECHATROLINK protocols.
LECS, AC Servo Motor Driver, Pulse Input Type
The LECS series offers AC servo motor drivers that use pulse input for standalone operation controlled by a PLC. The series is divided into models based on encoder type: the LECSA supports 17-bit incremental encoders, while the LECSB and LECSB-T support 18-bit and 22-bit absolute encoders, respectively. The LECSB-T model adds advanced capabilities such as the safe torque off (STO) function, push operation, and compatibility with larger motors, while both the LECSA and LECSB-T include internal positioning tables.
LECSN-T, AC Servo Motor Driver, Ethernet Protocols
The LECSN-T is a flexible AC servo motor driver featuring a modular design. It’s built to drive motors equipped with high-resolution 22-bit absolute encoders and features dual 100BASE-TX ports to support various network wiring configurations. The driver includes advanced real-time tuning and vibration suppression control to maintain performance as mechanical components wear, ensuring short settling times and high efficiency.
LECSC, AC Servo Motor Driver, CC-Link
Designed for the CC-Link v1.10 open industrial network, the LECSC driver operates AC servo motors equipped with 18-bit absolute encoders at transmission speeds up to 10 Mbps. It allows for direct movement instructions over the network and also includes an internal positioning table with 255 data points for pre-configured motion sequences. The unit features integrated display and setting buttons for direct status monitoring and manual input.
LECSS, AC Servo Motor Driver, SSCNET Protocols
The LECSS series is engineered for Mitsubishi's SSCNET servo system controller networks, with the LECSS-S model supporting SSCNET III and the LECSS-T model supporting the faster SSCNET III/H. The drivers operate AC servo motors with absolute encoders and are capable of synchronous motion in multi-axis applications. The LECSS-T variant offers enhanced features such as the STO safety function, improved noise reduction, and simplified pushing operations.
LECY, AC Servo Motor Driver, MECHATROLINK Protocols
The LECY series is compatible with the MECHATROLINK open field network, supporting AC servo motors with 20-bit absolute encoders. The LECYM model uses the MECHATROLINK-II protocol for up to 30 units, while the LECYU model uses MECHATROLINK-III to connect up to 62 units with high-speed 100 Mbps transmission. Both models include the STO safety function and are compliant with the SEMI F47 standard for voltage sag immunity.
