SMC Corporation of America Names David Bercik as New Vice President of Sales

NOBLESVILLE, IN - SMC Corporation of America, a global leader in industrial automation solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Bercik as Vice President of Sales. Effective immediately, David will join SMC’s executive team, bringing with him over 30 years of senior leadership experience that spans multiple industries, including automotive, healthcare, and electric vehicle infrastructure.

David’s extensive background includes his most recent tenure as Senior Vice President at Nuvve, a leader in electric vehicle infrastructure solutions, where he drove remarkable growth within the electric school bus sector. Prior to Nuvve, David held senior leadership roles at Blue Bird Corporation, overseeing Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Distribution, and Product Management, and achieving record profitability through strategic partnerships and innovative market approaches. His career has included significant leadership positions at Nissan Corporation, McKesson, AGCO, Manheim Auto Auctions, and Ford Motor Company, where he honed his skills in sales strategy and operational excellence.

Bercik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Toledo and an MBA from Webster University. His early career includes service as a U.S. Army officer at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
